On the latest Smallville, they really teased that Clark should get an alias finally. This season has really been pushing Clark to make all sorts of changes, as well as us the viewers being able to witness his own realizations about a lot of things.

My question is, will the producers finally allow Clark to be pushed in the direction to do the costume thing? Will he actually fly on the show? Or will they continue out their last two seasons with their "no suit, no flight" mentality?

I love the idea that Clark is realizing that people need hope in their lives, and his heroic behaviors being noticed is doing that. It pushes him to continue doing it, and try harder. At the same time it shows his love for mankind and Earth. It goes back to what Jor-El said while Kal-El was a baby, about humans of Earth "while good people, they need direction". Clark's destiny is to give us that direction.

This Thursday's episode should be great, as Clark & Lois are teleported to the Phantom Zone. Kara makes a return, and Lois gets possessed and causes chaos. Looks like another good episode of Smallville coming our way!
