My buddy Christen helped me downgrade my Wii from 3.3U to 3.2U the other day, and I got the Zelda hack to install the Homebrew Channel. It kept crashing on me, but I found out why today via a Google search. For some reason it doesn't like it when you have memory cards plugged in to your Wii for the GameCube part. So I took them out, and wallah, the Homebrew Channel is working fine.

It feels badass to have the Wii hacked for all this stuff, and I didn't even have to open the system up and install any chips or anything. Just need a SD Card for the data, and bam, you're in business. Oh yeah you'll need Twilight Princess originally as well. But I'm loving the Emulators for this thing, feels good to play an emulator on the TV with actual controllers.

If anybody wants information on how to do this, hit me up, I'll try to put together a tutorial on how I did it. I'll even put it in the most simple of terms and steps, because I know how frustrating it was for me to do this when most of the homebrew communities out there assume people know EVERYTHING from the start. Anyway I'm going to jet and download some Wii games to burn to DVD to play, like The Force Unleashed!
