The Comlink (10/3) – Pre-Quests, Surveying, and City Expansion

Welcome to my first “Comlink” on my blog.  This feature is going to pretty much be a journal of my Star Wars Galaxies playing.  From the Entertainer to the Trader, and my combat toons, you’ll hear all the fun I am having and more!

Things on Starsider are slow for me, as every time I try to get some groups together for instance runs, everybody wants to just go on and do their own thing.  Nobody in the game likes to listen to the the experienced players.  So due to that, I have been working more on my Sunrunner characters.

Rubik is sampling and surveying for resources to start up shop again, and now that I have made enough mining installations to set out and grab resources, I will be able to move along quicker.  No more manual hand sampling, I can do it automated while I sleep!  My next goal is to mass manufacture Camps with Shuttle Beacons and Cloning Tubes.

I haven’t really done much with Karizma, except for get the Ashes Rising (my city) up and started.  We are now a Rank 2 city, which grants us the ability to have a Bank, Parking Garage, medium gardens, and a Cantina!  I can’t wait to get enough resources on Rubik scrounged up to construct the Cantina and have Sierra’ set it down, and make the city’s first Nightclub.  A few good decorating jobs and planned Roleplaying events will be fun!

Now for my pride and joy of Sunrunner, Shaw’n Michaels, my Jedi Knight.  In one whole week I went from level 43 to level 75.  That is the fastest leveling process I have ever done.  At level 50 I had my collections for Meditate and Waist Pack finished, which is unheard of as well.   I was able to jump up a few boxes in my Privateer Pilot skill wheel.  My buddy Comic was nice enough to hook me up with 3 full sets of 35s as well, so I can stack my Agility/Constitution/Strength on my Jedi Suit.  Once I reach level 80, I can wear my Cloak of the Kursk with my newly created Jedi Suit and truly be a tank.  On Sunday, I plan on getting my instance pre-quests completed, which will hopefully pop me up 3-4 levels.

I created a wrestling arena in Star Wars Galaxies

I designed my own wrestling arena in Star Wars Galaxies, it took me a while, but I got it done! Just need to add a few minor things, another row of seats and other things. In the corners at the entrance, I want to have go-go dancing cages like TNA used to have, and have entertainers perform at my shows. I think something like this can get me interested in the whole Role Playing scene on Starsider!
