My Blog Crystal's Birthday, Some EWF Notes, and More ![]() I caught the movie Hot Tub Time Machine the other night. It is definitely this year's "HOT ROD". What do I mean by that? When Hot Rod came ou tin 2007, it left my friends and I with an endless amount of quotes to pop off at random times and never getting old. Always cracking a smile or chuckle each time. Hot Tub Time Machine is exactly that! It is simply put... a Great White Buffalo... great white buffalo... I've been enjoying the EWF shows I've attended lately. I wish I could go to every one of them, but some are out of my reach such as the Covina ones. San Bernardino is somewhat of a stretch for me, but I'm sure if push came to shove I'd be able to go to those. Riverside so far are the best ones for me to get to. EWF wrestling is so great, nice in your face atmosphere and fun for the whole family. I hope to continue to build a good relationship with EWF, and who knows, maybe even one day I could have an opportunity to work for them doing commentary, web design or even video production. Thank you Jesse Hernandez, for the great contributions you've made to the wrestling industry over the years, and even years to come. Long live the EWF! ![]() This week was Crystal's birthday. I hope she had a good one, and it sounds like she did. She got everything she wanted. I got her a poster, some iPod speakers, a collectible Marylin Monroe license plate and later on tonight taking her out for dinner. Her parents got her an iPod Touch and took her out to dinner too this week. So yeah, I think she had a good one. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE, I LOVE YOU! Earlier this morning I had an appointment with my doctor to address my sleep issue. It always happens around the Summer time, I can lay in bed from midnight to 4-5am and not sleep, as much as I try. Then the sun comes up, and I fall asleep instantly and sleep until noon. So I got another prescription for Ambien. I got one last year, and it lasted me a good 6 months, so hopefully I can pop an occasional one to kick start a normal sleep cycle. I had plans to do a WWF 1996 CAW league this Summer, even made all my roster, threw on the music themes, did the movesets and wrote out my first show guideline. What happened with it? I got UFC 2010 on PS3 and Red Dead Redemption on XBox 360, then I got on this old ass Gran Turismo 2 kick. WWF 1996 will have to take a rest for when I get motivated again, but hey, at least the roster is all 100% done right? SLAM n JAM has been kinda waning too in my opinion. Sadly, even though I wrote it, the time between The Babe defeating Kal-El and Bart winning the big one felt lack luster. I sort of did that on purpose, The Babe wasn't meant to be a huge mark on the title history this time around. I wanted to pop him in there to get Kal-El off "TV" and put Bart over. Things are picking up for SNJ now though with the soft brand split, and also with me doing the commentary. I need to get on that though, I haven't done a show this week...OOPS! My buddy Dennis has been talking more and more about him moving out to California in 2011, which I fully support. He said there's nothing for him out in Florida, and from what I've observed for years now, I think he's right. He has a lot of friends out this way, and when he was out here for WrestleMania 26 he seemed extremely happy. So if he can come out here and be happy, more power to him. Things will pick up for sure. Anyway, I think that's about it for this blog folks. I'll have another one up next week, and I also want to put up some thoughts on the UFC 2010 and Red Dead Redemption games too. I still need to pop out my detailed thoughts on this year's E3 and what I'm looking forward to! Until next time peeps, thanks for reading and Be Cool! - Wade
