Its Been A While, Hasn’t It?

I just realized it has been a while since I've done one of those "What's going on with Wade?" type of blogs.  So here I go, I'll let you all know how 2010 has been so far, and what I've got planned in the next few weeks.

New Years was fun, as Crystal and I went to my brother Ryan's house.  We hung out, played Rock Band then I played Josh in Madden on XBox.  That weekend I went to the theater with my mom, dad and grandma to see Avatar & The Blind Side.  Those are really good movies.  I'll get both of them when they come out.  Definitely will get the Blu-Ray of Avatar.

In the middle of January my buddy Dennis was kind enough to get Hall of Fame tickets for Crystal and I, major thanks to Dennis on that one.  You are one of the coolest guys I know man, and definitely my best friend in the world.  Dennis and I have been planning out what we'll be doing when he's out here in March for WrestleMania week.  Lots of fun stuff planned, especially for our annual eTailgate event.  We've also been planning for him to come out here for SummerSlam this August as well, which is going to be awesome as it is in LA again.

After talking to my parents about some finances, I am going to help even more around the house.  April 1st I'm canceling my DirecTV, my parents are canceling the internet and home phone.  Then as a new customer, I am having FiOS TV, Phone and Internet installed in my name and I'm going to take on that bill to free my parents up from some of that each month.  Should be fun, and it will only help out with the house and establish more credit for me, so it's a win/win situation if you ask me.

This past weekend Crystal stayed over on Saturday night.  We watched some Big Love and the 2010 Royal Rumble match.  I didn't get any sleep, as I forgot to take my Ambien, and I had a tore up stomach early Sunday morning.  We both decided it wouldn't really be fun to hang out Sunday all day with me like that, so she went home.  I wanted to get some sleep during the day, but then like nearly a dozen people showed up to watch the Super Bowl.  So I was stuck in bed somewhat miserable from lack of sleep.  Chatting with Crystal and Dennis on the laptop during the game was alright though, kept my mind off things to a degree.

This weekend is Valentine's Day.  I gave Crystal part of her present early on Saturday, and she liked it.  I'll give her the rest this weekend, and I hope to go out with her for dinner sometime.  She's going to come over on Wednesday to play some Wii, I look forward to that.  Things are going great for us right now.  She's got a job interview lined up at the end of the month, and she just started the Spring semester at the college.  I'm very happy and proud for her with all that's going on right now.  Things are definitely looking up for us.

I'm keeping pretty busy right now with my projects.  SLAM n JAM, The PPV Report and The Mailbag Shows are lighting up RingScoops.com with some nice content.  The Forums over there are starting to pick up, which I am happy about.  If you haven't already, you should go check out the site and the forums guys.  www.RingScoops.com

That pretty much sums up the year so far and some things I got going on soon.  Thank you all for reading, and I do apologize for so much time going by between the personal blog post dealio.  I'll try to have more of these go up soon, and have some more "Quick Fix" blogs too.  More SvR'10 stories are also being in the works, so keep an eye out for that guys!  Take it easy and always remember to Be Cool!

RingScoops.com Exclusive: The Stro Interview

I recently sat down with former WCW superstar The Stro to catch up on what's he's been doing in the world of professional wrestling.  We also talked about the current happenings going on with TNA and WWE as well.  Below are some keynotes talked about:

- The Stro talks about some of the shows he's been recently doing, along with movie and TV show projects.

- If you're interested in The Stro's wrestling school, he talks about learning ring psychology, character development in addition to learning how to bump.

- Changes in TNA were brought up, such as the move from the 6 Sided Ring to a 4 Sided Ring.  Stro talks about how Eric Bischoff had a vision back in WCW, and he appears to still have a vision today in TNA.

- While not seeing TNA Genesis, Stro did comment on the results and what he heard about the main event.  Stro praised AJ Styles & Kurt Angle for their performance.

- About the current product in the WWE, Stro says he's happy to see Vince still has the ability to create new stars such as Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, The Miz, Ted DiBiase and more.

- Some funny stories from the road were talked about, such as a worker getting "blown up" from lacing his boots and an announcer talking about nachos in the ring.

- Stro talks about his friend Jake "The Snake" Roberts announcing a Retirement Tour, and how it would be an honor if Jake were to have him part of the show.

- When his run in WCW was brought up, Stro was asked about his relationship with Symphony (aka Ryan Shamrock).  Stro maintained that his relationship was professional, and it remains that today.

- Finally Stro said it was a historic moment when Bret Hart returned to the WWE and it will be interesting to see where things go from there.
